A. Flaming grew up in an odd family, homeschooled, and was steeped inadvertently in the philosophy of such as Francis Schaeffer (and L'Abri folks in general), C.S. Lewis, St. Augustine, and who knows who else. For whatever reason, her background has made her highly interested in the workings of truth and reality, and she gets far too worked up about anything that doesn't seem to fit. She likes to pretend she is a rational person, but that remains to be seen.
